Said Azizi began training in martial arts in 2001. He started training with Sifu Bill Azizi and Eye of the Eagle to boost his self esteem and confidence. His first training was in the art of Luk Hop Baat Fat, also known as Water Boxing, which helped him become calm and gain more understanding about himself and the people around him. In 2004 he became interested in Tae Kwan Do, and training in this style helped him gain fitness and confidence.
It wasn't long after that Said began training in weaponry. From the year 2005 up to the present, Said has been working with the staff, Eskrima sticks, the straight Chinese sword, the katana (Samurai sword), and the broad sword. Said went on to earn his Brown Belt in the year 2008 and with that achievement he was required to take more responsibility and begin teaching other students in martial arts. With this new responsibility, Said would gain confidence as he took leadership roles in the Eye of the Eagle.
In 2010 Said realized a great achievement as he received his Black Belt after years of intense training of the mind and body. Achieving his Black Belt was the achievement of a goal for Said that helped him believe that he could accomplish anything.
During all of these years of training, Said was performing regularly on stage in front of thousands of people in many different locations; from the Royal Easter Show, Tai Festival, Chinese Festivals, and many others. In these martial arts demonstrations, he performed in many different styles of martial arts and different weaponry. It included fight scenes, patterns, and traditional forms.
For Said, Sifu Bill Azizi was a great mentor and teacher. He guided Said's path and helped him make appropriate decisions. Said is currently establishing a Bowen Therapy business. The training with Sifu Bill helped him grow in confidence and strength both mentally and physically. Said can perform in front of thousands of people in demonstrations and train students in martial arts thanks to the confidence he has received from Sifu Bill Azizi and Eye of the Eagle.
